Comfort and Safety
The comfort and safety of our patients is a central focus here at Plymouth Ann Arbor Oral and Facial Surgery. We strictly adhere to the dental standards of the ADA, AAOMS, and OSHA, plus require advanced dental sedation training and DAANCE certifications for all dental assistants who participate in IV sedation cases. Additionally, we utilize state-of-the-art sterilization equipment in which all instruments are packaged and sterilized, something that further increases the level of safety we are able to provide.
Our doctors and staff make it a priority to ensure that each of our offices provides an environment that is as comfortable and stress-free as possible. You will always be welcomed with a warm smile from our friendly staff, our waiting and treatment rooms are clean and comfortable, and our doctors always take as much time as needed to fully educate and answer any questions you may have. We strongly believe in minimizing the stress involved for those who require our services and make every effort to keep our patients feeling comfortable and safe at all times.
Technology for Advanced Care
The cutting-edge technology we utilize places our practice in a league of its own. We employ full digital radiographs, including Cone Beam CT and digital panoramic radiographs, something that provides us with the most detailed and high-quality images available. Our Plymouth and Ann Arbor offices each have brand new imaging units that offer the amazing feature of being able to achieve an average of 77% reduction in radiation dose when compared to standard imaging protocols, significantly reducing the exposure our patients face without any statistical reduction in image quality. Our doctors also have advanced training in administering anesthesia, allowing us to make each and every patient comfortable, regardless of how difficult or complex a case may be.
Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth removal is one of the most common oral surgery procedures because, in most people, those teeth do not grow in properly. When that is the case and there isn’t enough room for the jaw to accommodate those teeth, they can get stuck under the gum line and become impacted. The resulting issue can cause pain, infections, gum disease, tooth decay, and even cysts or tumors. We understand that the idea of having your wisdom teeth removed can be intimidating, but at Plymouth Oral and Facial Surgery, our friendly team is prepared to answer all of your questions and gently guide you through every step of the process. If you are between the ages of 16 to 25, or are the parent of someone who is, now is the ideal time to schedule a consultation with one of our doctors since wisdom teeth roots aren’t fully developed and haven’t had a chance to impact any neighboring teeth.
Dental Implants
Our doctors believe that dental implants are the absolute best way to replace missing teeth since they maintain bone and mass volume, something removable dentures and fixed bridges do not. Our surgeons have ample experience in regards to this permanent solution and bring an unparalleled level of professional integrity and expertise to the table in regards to both simple and complex dental implants. Employing modern technology and techniques, together with extensive training and experience, our doctors are able to deliver comfortable and positive experiences every single time.
Bone and Soft Tissue Grafting
When it comes to replacing teeth and repairing gums we utilize the most advanced techniques in implant dentistry and bone and soft tissue grafting. Our surgeons offer an unsurpassed level of expertise that allows us to provide the best-customized treatments and the highest level of esthetic outcomes possible. Trained in all methods of IV sedation and anesthesia, our doctors will keep you safe and comfortable throughout your procedure.
